| NOTICES Your 2011-12 Executive - The AGM was a great success and the new Executive is in place, ready to make the coming year a social and fun one for the Club. Volunteers are still needed to help with and suggest events ! Congratulations to Brian Bentley, who was honoured with a Life Membership to the Club at the AGM. Thanks for all your years of service Brian!! Membership Renewal Time - The Thanksgiving Dinner is the traditional cutoff for membership renewals. If you don't renew by then, you will stop receiving news of Canadian Club events, including the Newsletter. If you just joined and paid contact the Club Membership Coordinator for clarification on Membership status. So renew now and continue to enjoy membership priveledges (email notifications, Newsletter, event discounts, etc). Go to the Membership Page to download a form and for payment instructions, or pay at the next event. Bluenose II Rebuild: For those interested, the Bluenose II is undergoing a complete re-build at a Lunenburg Shipyard in Lunenburg, NS. You can follow the progress live via webcam at Bluenose II Web Cam. A really fascinating project!!! (You can also view a live underwater shot of an active lobster trap and otur Halifax Harbour on the "Harbour Hopper").
