Campfire
One of our most popular events of the year, we invite you to roast some hot dogs and s’mores with fellow Canadians and CCWA members.
We provide the hotdogs, condiments and s’mores. Please bring your own drinks and roasting sticks.

Canada Day

There will be Canadian-inspired specials, as well as a complimentary drink for CCWA members who join or renew by or on July 1. Some pub snacks will be provided by the club.

Terry Fox Run*
Join the Canadian Club of WA for our annual Terry Fox Run at Lake Monger Reserve (Dodd Street end) from 10.30 am.
Bring friends, familiy and dogs (on leashes) to run, walk or ride 3.5 km around Lake Monger (1 km option available also) in this annual classic Canadian tradition with our CCWA team and then join us for a fundraising $5 sausage sizzle (please bring cash).
Terrance Stanley Fox (July 28, 1958 – June 28, 1981) was a Canadian athlete, humanitarian, and cancer research activist. In 1980, having had one leg amputated due to cancer, he embarked on a cross-Canada run to raise money and awareness for cancer research. The annual Terry Fox Run, first held in 1981, has grown to involve millions of participants in over 60 countries and is the world's largest one-day fundraiser for cancer research.

Christmas in the Park
The Canadian Club of WA brings some holiday cheer with our annual “brunch with the bunch”.
Start the festive season with our Christmas Brunch, including bubbles, OJ, bagels, smoked salmon and all the extras. Ham for the non salmon lovers.
Grandkids, nieces & nephews are invited to this family friendly gathering where Santa will be coming.

Yanchep Family Beach Swim
Celebrate the start to the new year with our annual family beach swim at Yanchep Lagoon.
A beautiful beach with great facilities, including toilets, showers, pram/wheelchair ramp & parking.
First meeting place: Orion Cafe from 8:00am for those who wish to enjoy breakfast/coffee.
Orion Cafe doesn't take reservations so please arrive early if you wish to join in.
Orion Cafe, 10 Brazier Road Yanchep.
Second meeting place: Yanchep Lagoon from 9:00am for those who want to enjoy the sheltered lagoon for swimming.
Yanchep Lagoon is located across from Orion Cafe.
Parking can be difficult so plan to carpool and/or arrive early.
Please bring own chairs, towels and refreshments
Look out for Canadian flag/ towel draped over a chair by the surf life saving tower, left side at the beach entrance.

Roll up & Bowl up
Join us for a family-friendly afternoon of bowling! This is probably the most well-known bowling venue in Perth and has been a favourite since 1923. It is licensed and sells burgers, bbq chicken, calamari, pizza, fries etc.
Cost: $27 pp for 2 games (wearing any closed in sneaker/shoe acceptable) / Children: $20 pp for 2 games
